Missouri-born Kris Kuksi takes his state motto– “Show Me”– to heart… and shows us, e.g.,

As we rotate out turrets, we might wish a bumpy birthday to George Combe, England’s foremost phrenologist, born on this date in 1788.  His Constitution of Man sold approximately 350,000 copies between 1828 and 1900, making it one of the best-selling books of the era.
