Jack Sprat, after the divorce…

Helenita Queiroz Grave Minho designed and built her own house in Madre de Deus, Brazil…  the constraints were pretty tight:  a narrow lot– really narrow.  So she built a house that is 1m wide at the front, gradually tapering to 2m at the back.  At 10m high, it has three floors, 2 living rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and 3 bedrooms:

As we consider self-storage lockers, we might recall that on this date in in 1501 that Michaelangelo began work on “David,” one of his two greatest sculptures (with “Pieta”) and a landmark of the Renaissance.  It was completed and unveiled almost exactly three years later.
