Freeing one’s inner Stan Lee…

The good folks at Cover Browser have created a terrific new service, Speech Bubbler… one’s own captions on classic comic book covers:


As we hand in our work for lettering, we might recall that it was on this date in 1753, The British Museum was established by act of Parliament.  Driven in part by the example of yesterday’s honoree, John Ashmole, and based on the collection of Sir Hans Sloane, “the BM” has grown to over 13 million objects/exhibits; until 1972, when the British Library moved to its own building, the Museum was unique in housing both a national museum of antiquities and a national library in the same building.
