Robert Friedrichs of the National Nuclear Security Administration has been working for the last several years, with the help of CONELRAD’s Missing Persons Bureau, to find Lee Merlin (or that’s presumed to be her name)– “Miss Atomic Bomb,” the 1957 avatar of Las Vegas’ bizarre love affair with thermonuclear devices.

As we consider our relationships to Vishnu, we might recall that this was a sad day for the Florentine School and the early Renaissance, as it was on this date in 1510 that Alessandro di Mariano di Vanni Filipepi (aka, Sandro Botticelli or Il Botticello– “little barrels”) passed away at age 66.
